The story My Shoes Take Me Where I Want to Go, is a story about dressing up, using your imagination, and the different types of shoes there are. The story is okay - but its written in kind of a sing-song manner that gets a little bumpy in sections. The illustrations are colorful, but very messy and don't have any detail. This is an alright book for basic understanding of playing pretend and learning about shoes - but not the most interesting story. I also found it odd that the only place there seemed to be any detail in the story is on the very last page where it shows a mother reading to her daughter and the book is very clearly another one of the other authors stories. A little cheesy for my taste. |
