Mamma Bookworm review

Beautiful, fun poems & beautiful watercolors

This book of children's poems is very well put together with over 50 contributing poets. The poems are sweet, funny, goofy, serious and just an all together good mix. The watercolor painting illustrations by Kady MacDonald Denton are beautiful and really add to the poems on each page.

I know that a lot of parents don't buy their kids books of poetry other than maybe mother goose - but I have found that poetry books make great bedtime stories and really help with a child's vocabulary because they use such a lot of descriptive language.
