This book by Mimi (why she has no last name I don't really know) is just plain boring. It's the story of a little boy and his pets doing all the things that you are not supposed to do with a pot. (ie sit in it, play in it, etc) But the story is actually kind of confusing. They don't really explain that the narrator is.... I guess... being sarcastic? Eh, that's not even the right word. The whole story is telling you not to do stuff with this pot and at the end it says, "Why not?" Maybe it's just me, but for the age group that this is aimed at, I don't think they would get what the author is trying to say.

The illustrations were not great and a lot of times showed the little boy doing something he really SHOULDN'T be doing with the pot, like stand on it or try to roll on it like a barrel. I don't really recommend this book to anyone.
